Boys dolls house?!

I was watching two children in my shop, one playing with the fire station and his sister was playing with the dolls house. I find it really interesting as from one angle these are identical activities but even at a young age they are adhering to quite strong cultural pressures. As I was thinking this I noticed the boy had put the pink frilly dining table in the fire station and she had the fire fighters for a sleep over!
